Bosham Gardens Open Day was on Sun 9th June 2024

This biennial event, in the aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, offers a rare opportunity to visit many private gardens in and around the beautiful village of Bosham in West Sussex.


 
The Chichester & District Branch have been fundraising for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research since 1983 and have raised an amazing £800,000 to help beat blood cancers. It’s thanks to people like you, who support local events, that these contributions are possible and your support is very much appreciated.

This year there will be something of interest for all gardeners including:
  • Gardens on the harbours edge featuring coastal and wind-tolerant plants
  • Beautiful harbour views
  • More sheltered gardens in the village in a wide variety of styles and sizes
  • Rose gardens
  • Herbaceous borders
  • Organic vegetable gardens
  • Unusual container planting
  • Water features
  • Bee keeping
  • Art work for sale in some gardens

  • Plant Sales in various gardens

  • Jazz Band, "Jazz Smugglers", will be playing in the afternoon between 2.30 and 4.30 pm at Off Shore Cottage, Shore.Road.  www.jazzenthusiasts.com
